Kristy Watson grew up on a farm in Fremont, Michigan, the youngest of six children of Jack and Lois Sanderson. After graduating from Michigan State University, Kristy moved to Texas in 1992 to work as a cartographic designer for the HM Gousha Company in Comfort, Texas. When Gousha was bought out in 1996, Kristy started Polonyx, a graphic design company with her husband of 16 years, Todd Watson. Kristy has a patent on a urethane horseshoe which she sells worldwide. She is manager of the Boerne White Sox Vintage Base Ball team and past president of the Agricultural Heritage Museum and The Boerne Area Artists Association. Kristy also assists with equine assisted psychotherapy with children at Legends in Bergheim. Kristy has been painting ever since she could hold a brush.
