Australian artist Catherin McMillan as been drawing for as long as she can remember… Working as a professional portrait artist for over 10 years, Catherin works in a variety of mediums pastels, acrylics and watercolour. Working primarily, as a commission based artist with work in selected number of Galleries.

The main focus of Catherin work is the animals she paints or draws from Bovines and Equines to a treasured family pet. “The animals have a way of bringing themselves alive beneath my hands... I’m always amazed that I’ve created these work” Catherin says.

The tranquillity and inquisitive nature of Bovines makes them a wonderful subject to paint of draw. Catherin has won numerous awards for her work over the years and her work can be found in private collections world wide.
